Night Passage (preliminary study)
I’ve learned that night has its own language.
Some paths only reveal themselves after everything grows quiet. I move forward slowly, feeling for what can’t always be seen. There are moments when the dark feels heavier than it should, when I have to steady myself and trust that I am not walking without direction. Not everything that walks with me casts a shadow.
Not everything that stays can be held.
Media: Watercolor, Ink, and color pencil.
Dimensions: 5” X 5”
Frame and double matted. Frame: 12” X 12”
